To adjust the position of the mounting screws on the Hunter 19969 Chevron 2 Light Rustic fixture, follow these steps:
1. Remove the cap nuts from the mounting screws.
2. Place the mounting plate over the junction box so that the mounting screws and nuts extend away from the ceiling.
3. Depending on the placement of your junction box, the position of the mounting screws may need to be adjusted to allow the canopy to be flush with the ceiling.
4. Loosen the nuts on the mounting screws and adjust the position of the screws by loosening or tightening them.
5. The ideal position of the mounting screws is when they can be exposed 5-6 mm after passing through the canopy to properly fit the cap nuts.
6. Once the ideal position is achieved, tighten the nuts on the mounting screws under the mounting plate to ensure they are in place.
