To connect your UNOnext Indoor Air Quality Monitor to WiFi, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure your UNOnext monitor has WiFi capability. Check the product number on the label on the back of the monitor or on the label of the box. Only the UNOnext models with product numbers in the format of UNO-**W (e.g., UNO-6SW, UNO-9SW) have WiFi capability.
2. Ensure that your WiFi access point/router is a 2.4GHz network. UNOnext only supports 2.4GHz WiFi and does not work with 5GHz only networks.
3. Reconnect the power of your UNOnext monitor.
4. If there is still no data visible in the UNOweb or UNOnext App after the previous steps, follow the below steps to check the WiFi connection:
a. Check the WiFi Power LED on the back of the UNOnext monitor. It should be on when the power is on.
b. Check the WiFi status light in front of the UNOnext monitor. If it is on, it means the monitor is already connected to the WiFi access point. If it is not on, you may need to reset the WiFi settings of the monitor.
c. Check the WiFi indicator in the UNOnext App. It should be in a green square. If it is blue, it means the UNOnext data connection is established and the signal strength can be seen. If it is gray, you may need to reset the WiFi settings of the monitor.
5. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you can try setting up the UNOnext monitor to connect to another workable WiFi access point/router, such as a hotspot WiFi shared by your phone or tablet.
To reset the WiFi settings of your UNOnext monitor, follow these steps:
1. Scan the QR code provided in the manual to download and install the UNOnext app.
2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions. The app will guide you through the setup process.
3. If it is your first time opening the app, a guide will be displayed to assist you.
4. Click on the WiFi indicator within the app to set up the WiFi connection. If your UNOnext monitor is not yet bound to the app, the app will guide you through the binding process.
5. Fill in the WiFi password and send it to the UNOnext monitor.
- For iOS devices, make sure your phone is connected to the WiFi access point first.
- For Android devices, you may need to scan and select the WiFi access point.
6. If the WiFi settings are valid, your UNOnext monitor will connect to the cloud.
