To connect the source and destination drives to the OpenText TD2u Tableau Forensic Duplicator, follow these steps:
1. Confirm that the Duplicator is off before beginning.
2. Connect the source drive to the Duplicator's source side. You can use a SATA, IDE, USB 3.0, or SAS drive. If you are using a SAS drive, you will need the Tableau Duplicator SAS Expansion Module [TDP6], which is sold separately.
3. Connect up to two SATA drives and one USB 3.0 drive to the Duplicator's destination side. These will be your destination drives.
4. Connect the power supply to the Duplicator's DC In.
5. Press the power button to turn on the Duplicator and begin operation.
Note: It is recommended to power down the Duplicator before disconnecting a source or destination drive.
Additionally, if you have a USB storage device, you can connect it to the USB 2.0 Device Port for saving logs or connect a USB keyboard for easier data entry. If you need to update the firmware, you can connect the Duplicator to your computer via the mini USB port and use the Tableau Firmware Update utility.
