To install the Progress Lighting P250012 Gulliver Ceiling Fan, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the electricity is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box before beginning the installation.
2. Determine the mounting option based on the presence of an existing cUL listed mounting box. If there is no existing mounting box, secure the outlet box directly to the building structure using appropriate fasteners and building materials.
3. Hang the fan by inserting the end of the downrod through the connector and aligning the holes. Insert a plug pin through the holes and secure it with an R-shaped pin. Install the xxxx to the connector.
4. Insert the canopy and metal cover through the downrod.
5. Insert the hanger ball through the downrod and insert a plug pin through the hole in the downrod. Insert the plug pin into the slot cut off in the hanger ball.
6. Install the hanger bracket on the outlet box using the provided washer and screws.
7. Put the hanger ball through the open side of the ceiling mounting bracket and insert it into the slot cut off in the ceiling mounting bracket.
8. Make the electric connections by connecting the fan motor wires to the corresponding wires marked on the receiver. Connect the house supply wires to the corresponding wires marked on the receiver. Connect the ground wire if applicable.
9. Secure the safety cable to the ceiling joist using a xxxx and washer.
10. Insert the receiver into the downrod hanging bracket and cover it with the canopy.
11. Install the metal mesh and xxxx in the light bulbs.
12. Use the transmitter to operate the fan and adjust the speed and light settings as desired.
