Yes, the LINDY 43270 5m USB 3.2 Gen 1 Active Extension is compatible with USB Type C equipped computers. You can connect the extension cable to a free USB Type C port on your computer. Your computer will recognize the new hardware and install any required drivers automatically. Once connected, you can then connect your USB device to the USB Type A or C socket of the extension cable.
Please note that for USB devices with high power demands, such as a USB Hub, it may be necessary to connect a separate power supply. The extension cable can be bus powered or externally powered using a 5VDC 2A power supply with a 3.5/1.35mm DC connector (not included).
