To use the COMMSCOPE FGS-MKIT-ABF FiberGuide Mitre Box with 26in Saw to cut fiber raceway sections to size, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have the necessary safety equipment, such as gloves and safety glasses, before starting the cutting process.
2. Place the FiberGuide Mitre Box on a stable surface, ensuring that it is securely positioned.
3. Select the appropriate size of fiber raceway section you wish to cut (2x2, 4x4, 4x6, or 4x12).
4. Insert the fiber raceway section into the Mitre Box, aligning it with the appropriate cutting guides for the desired length.
5. Hold the fiber raceway section firmly in place within the Mitre Box, ensuring that it is securely positioned against the cutting guides.
6. Take the 26in Saw and carefully align it with the cutting guides, ensuring that the saw blade is positioned perpendicular to the fiber raceway section.
7. Apply even pressure and begin cutting through the fiber raceway section using a back-and-forth sawing motion. Take care to maintain a steady and controlled cutting motion.
8. Continue sawing until the desired length is achieved, ensuring a clean and precise cut.
9. Once the cut is complete, remove the fiber raceway section from the Mitre Box and inspect the cut end for any rough edges or burrs. If necessary, use a file or sandpaper to smooth out any imperfections.
10. Repeat the above steps for any additional fiber raceway sections you need to cut.
