To install the Perma Child Safety 2775 Clear Ultimate Safety Gate, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the mounting surface (e.g. wall, door frame, stairway) is strong, rigid, and has an even surface.
2. xxxx the adjuster bolts and screws together, then place them into the mounting holes in each corner of the gate.
3. Place the gate in the desired opening, making sure the bottom rail is completely flat on the floor. Align the mounting cups directly above each other and mark the position of each cup with a pencil.
4. Stick the mounting cup in position with the adhesive pads and then place the gate into position.
5. For added security, fix each cup to the wall using a small Phillips head screwdriver and the screws provided.
6. Align the gate with the mounting cups and tighten the adjuster screws by turning clockwise. Start with the bottom adjuster screws and then move to the top. Tighten equally until there is only a 1.5mm (0.5") gap in the locking mechanism. Regularly check the tension of all adjuster bolts and tighten if necessary.
7. Determine which direction the gate should open and xxxx in the swing direction control piece opposite to the desired opening direction.
