To turn on the Elitech WJL-6000S Corona Detector, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have inserted 4 AAA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment. Do not connect the detector to an external power source.
2. Rotate the rotary xxxx located on the detector to the ON position.
3. The detector will beep at a fixed frequency to indicate that it has been turned on.
Please note that the detector will automatically adjust its circuit in 6 seconds to ignore the current refrigerant concentration at the probe, allowing it to enter optimum detection status immediately. If you are near a leakage source, this feature will help pinpoint the leak at higher concentrations. If you are in fresh air, you can adjust the sensitivity to maximum to detect any leak above zero.
For more detailed instructions and information on sensitivity adjustment, leak alarm, and battery indication, please refer to the Elitech WJL-6000S Corona Detector User Manual.
