To activate the childproof lock on the NEFF TL16EB1N1 Ceramic Hob, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the hob is switched off.
2. Press and hold the lock symbol () for approximately 4 seconds.
3. The indicator light above the lock symbol will light up for 10 seconds, indicating that the childproof lock is activated.
4. The hob is now locked and cannot be switched on by children.
To deactivate the childproof lock, simply press and hold the lock symbol () for approximately 4 seconds. The lock will be released, and the hob can be used as normal.
