Installation of the homepoint BXCDF23122 Basin Mixer can be done by following these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure you have all the necessary tools and materials.
2. Shut off the water supply to the basin where you will be installing the mixer.
3. Remove the existing basin tap or mixer, if applicable.
4. Clean the surface of the basin where the new mixer will be installed, ensuring it is free from any debris or old sealant.
5. Take the horse shoe type fixing kit and place it on the underside of the basin, aligning it with the holes provided.
6. Insert the locknut with xxxx fixing kit through the holes on the basin and secure it with the securing collar fixing kit from underneath. Tighten the locknut to ensure a secure fit.
7. Connect the flexible connecting pipes to the household pipework. Take care not to bend the pipes sharply or kink them, as this may result in poor performance or damage to the pipes.
8. Attach the basin mixer to the fixing kit by screwing it onto the locknut. Make sure it is securely tightened.
9. Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks. If there are any leaks, tighten the connections further or use plumber's tape to ensure a watertight seal.
10. Once the installation is complete and there are no leaks, clean the surfaces of the mixer and basin using a clean damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents or materials, as they may damage the finish.
