To program a channel on the BAOFENG UV-9G GMRS Radio, follow these steps:
1. Turn on the radio by rotating the volume/power xxxx clockwise until you hear a click.
2. Press the [VFO/MR] button to switch to Frequency (VFO) mode.
3. Use the arrow keys or the numeric keypad to enter the desired frequency.
4. Press the [MENU] button to enter the menu.
5. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the "Memory Channel" option (Menu No. 27).
6. Press the [MENU] button to select the "Memory Channel" option.
7. Use the arrow keys to select the desired memory channel number (1-128).
8. Press the [MENU] button to confirm the memory channel selection.
9. Press the [EXIT] button to exit the menu.
The frequency you entered will now be stored in the selected memory channel. You can access this channel by pressing the [VFO/MR] button to switch to Memory (MR) mode and using the arrow keys to navigate to the desired memory channel.
