To adjust the blade tension on the SKIL SS9503-00 16 Inches Scroll Saw, follow these steps:
1. Release the blade tension by lifting up the blade tension lever.
2. Use the blade tension lever to loosen or tighten the blade tension. Pull the lever up to loosen the tension and push it down to tighten the tension.
3. Adjust the tension until it is at the desired level. The tension should be tight enough to prevent the blade from slipping, but not so tight that it puts excessive strain on the blade or motor.
4. Once the tension is adjusted, lower the blade tension lever to lock the tension in place.
It is important to properly adjust the blade tension for optimal cutting performance and to prevent blade breakage. Always turn off the scroll saw and unplug it from the power source before adjusting the blade tension.
