To configure the CyberPower RMCARD205 Remote Management Card using Modbus TCP protocol, follow these steps:
1. Connect the RMCARD205 to your network using an Ethernet cable.
2. Ensure that your computer is on the same network as the RMCARD205.
3. Open a web browser on your computer and enter the IP address of the RMCARD205 in the address bar.
4. Log in to the RMCARD205 using the default username and password (refer to the user manual for the default credentials).
5. Once logged in, navigate to the Modbus TCP settings section.
6. Set the Modbus TCP port to TCP/502 (this is the standard port for Modbus TCP).
7. Choose the Modbus mode as RTU.
8. Set the Unit ID/Slave Address to an arbitrary value. It is recommended to use 0xFF or 0x00.
9. Save the settings and restart the RMCARD205 for the changes to take effect.
You can now use Modbus TCP commands to communicate with the RMCARD205 and retrieve information or send commands. Refer to the user manual for the available Modbus function codes and their corresponding data formats.
Please note that the above instructions are a general guideline. For detailed instructions and specific configuration options, refer to the CyberPower RMCARD205 Remote Management Card User Manual.
