To install the guard on the RYOBI PCL445 18V Angle Grinder, please follow these steps:
1. Remove the battery pack from the grinder.
2. Unlock the guard clasp by pulling the clasp out, away from the grinder.
3. Place the guard on the shoulder of the bearing cap by aligning the index dots on the guard and bearing cap. Press down on the guard until it is fully seated.
4. Rotate the guard to its correct position. Be sure the raised ridge on the guard is seated in the groove on the bearing cap.
5. Lock the guard clasp by pushing the clasp in.
It is important to always use the guard when operating the angle grinder to protect yourself from sparks and loose particles.
