To properly charge the battery of the Razor EcoSmart Metro Electric Scooter, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the power switch is turned off before charging.
2. Plug the charger plug into a wall outlet. The light on the charger should be green.
3. Plug the charger into the charger port on the scooter. The light on the charger should turn red, indicating that charging has started.
4. Leave the scooter plugged in for the recommended charging time. The initial charge time is 12 hours, and subsequent recharge time is up to 12 hours, even if the light turns green. The recommended maximum charging time is 24 hours.
5. After the recommended charging time has passed, unplug the charger from the wall outlet and disconnect it from the scooter.
6. Always fully charge the battery before storing the scooter for extended periods of time.
7. It is important to periodically recharge the battery to maintain its performance. Failure to do so may result in a battery that will not accept a charge.
8. Remember to turn off the power switch when the scooter is not in use to preserve battery life.
Note: Do not store the scooter in freezing or below-freezing temperatures, as this can permanently damage the battery.
