To pair the Argox AS-9400BT General Duty 2D Imager with a Bluetooth device, follow the instructions below based on your device's operating system:
For Android devices:
1. Power on the scanner. The LED light will start flashing.
2. On your Android device, go to Home/Menu/Settings/Wireless & Networks/Bluetooth Settings.
3. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
4. In the list of found devices, select "Argox Bluetooth" and tap Pair.
5. The scanner will emit one long beep and the LED light will turn solid blue, indicating a successful pairing.
For Apple iOS devices:
1. Power on the scanner. The blue LED light will flash.
2. Start a Bluetooth device search on your iOS device.
3. On your iOS device, go to Settings/General/Bluetooth and turn it on. A Bluetooth device search will begin.
4. In the device list, tap on "Argox Bluetooth" and tap Pair.
5. The scanner will emit one beep, and the LED light will turn solid blue, indicating a successful pairing.
For Windows PCs:
Method 1:
1. Read the Bluetooth HID (Basic Mode) section below.
2. Scan the pairing code on the charging base. The scanner will be paired and connected to the computer automatically.
Method 2:
1. Power on the scanner and make sure it is discoverable (unpaired).
2. Use your computer's Bluetooth Settings to connect to the scanner.
3. Open Devices and Printers and select "Add a device."
4. In the device list, select "Argox Bluetooth" and click Next.
5. Follow the remaining screens to complete the wizard.
6. The scanner will emit one beep, and the LED light will turn solid blue, indicating a successful pairing.
Important Notes:
- Ensure that the Bluetooth device is within range.
- The scanner will power off if there is no activity for 1 minute.
- Pressing the scan button will initiate connection attempts.
To unpair the Bluetooth:
1. Scan the "Un-pair Bluetooth HID" barcode. The scanner will disconnect from the current device and wait to be paired with another device.
2. Remove or ignore "Argox Bluetooth" from your previous device.
Note: The Argox AS-9400BT General Duty 2D Imager supports different Bluetooth connection modes, such as Basic Mode (HID), Application Mode (BLE), and Application Mode (SPP). Refer to the manual for more information on these modes and how to switch between them.
