To adjust the temperature settings on the PARKER 82-03 Thermasonic Gel Warmer, follow these steps:
1. For models 82-03 and 82-03-20: When the Gel Warmer is powered on for the first time, the LED corresponding with MED will begin to flash, indicating that the Gel Warmer is warming to the MEDIUM temperature setting (factory setting). The Gel Warmer will remember the last temperature setting used when powered on again.
2. To switch between the LOW, MEDIUM, and HIGH temperature settings, press the thermometer button below the bank of LEDs. Each press of the button will cycle through the temperature settings.
3. Once the Gel Warmer reaches the set temperature, the LED will stop flashing and remain illuminated. If the temperature drops below the acceptable range, the LED will flash until the unit returns to the correct temperature.
Note: For models 83-03 and 83-03-20, the temperature adjustment process is slightly different. The digital display will indicate the current temperature and will warm to the factory-set temperature of 102°F (39°C). To adjust the temperature, press the arrow button with the + symbol to increase the temperature or press the arrow button with the - symbol to decrease the temperature. Each press of the arrow button will increase or decrease the temperature setting by one degree and flash the newly set temperature for five seconds.
Remember to always test a small quantity of gel before applying it, and avoid using the HIGH setting on infants, the elderly, or patients with sensitive skin.
