To clean the FIRST MATS Heavy Duty Warehouse Mats, you will need the following materials: clean cloth, dust pan & brush, bucket & mop, cleaning detergent, and 3M Surface Cleaner. Here is the step-by-step process:
1. Degrease: Clean the existing floor to ensure it is free from grease, oil, and any other contaminants. Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust and dirt.
2. Clean the back of the mat: Use a clean cloth and a cleaning detergent to clean and degrease the back of the mat. Ensure it is free from dust and dirt.
3. Double Sided Tape: Cut the double-sided tape into strips that fit the length of the matting. Peel off the backing from the tape and apply it to the matting as shown in the provided drawing.
4. Application: Once the tape is applied to the back of the mat, peel off the release paper. With the help of two people, carefully turn the mat over and apply it to the floor. If you have multiple mats, repeat the process for each one.
Please note that it is recommended to use 3M Surface Cleaner or a similar composition when preparing the floor for installation. Avoid using aggressive cleaning substances that contain alcohol, acetone, or similar chemicals, as they may react with the rubber backing of the mat. Also, avoid turning the forklift wheels or making circular maneuvers while moving over the mat.
