Descaling is an important maintenance task to ensure the optimal performance of your CALOR SV8055C0 Express Steam Iron Station. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to descale the iron station:
1. Ensure that the iron station is unplugged and cooled down before starting the descaling process.
2. Fill the water tank of the iron station with a mixture of one part white vinegar and one part water. Do not exceed the maximum fill level indicated on the water tank.
3. Plug in the iron station and turn it on. Set the steam control to the maximum position.
4. Place a container under the iron station's soleplate to collect the descaling solution.
5. Allow the iron station to heat up until the indicator light stops blinking, indicating that it is ready for use.
6. Press the steam trigger and hold it down for approximately 10 seconds to release the descaling solution through the soleplate. Repeat this process several times to ensure thorough descaling.
7. Once the descaling solution has been released, empty the water tank and rinse it thoroughly with clean water.
8. Refill the water tank with clean water and repeat the process of releasing steam through the soleplate to flush out any remaining descaling solution.
9. Finally, empty the water tank again and rinse it with clean water to remove any traces of vinegar.
10. Your CALOR SV8055C0 Express Steam Iron Station is now descaled and ready for use.
