The installation of the BriskHeat TTI Tote Tank-IBC Immersion Heater is quite simple. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Ensure that the tote tank or IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) is empty and clean before installation.
2. Locate the top opening of the tank and remove any existing cap or lid.
3. Take the immersion heater and xxxx it directly into the top of the tank. The heater has a universal fit and should easily xxxx into place.
4. Make sure the heating element is fully submerged in the liquid inside the tank. It is important for the element to be fully submerged for proper heating and to avoid any damage.
5. Connect the power cord of the immersion heater to a suitable power outlet. The power cord is 10 ft (3 m) long and comes with either a standard 3-prong plug (NEMA 5-15) for 120V models or bare wire leads for 240V models.
6. Set the desired temperature on the adjustable control. The temperature range of the heater is up to 167°F (75°C), and the temperature can be displayed on the 3-digit digital display.
7. The immersion heater is now ready to provide heat to the liquid in the tote tank or IBC.
Caution: It is important to note that the BriskHeat TTI Tote Tank-IBC Immersion Heater should not be used with highly-concentrated acids. The heater is designed for use with non-acidic materials.
