The number of bitumen strips to be used for the roofing felt installation on the KONIFERA 17020 Garden House North Sea depends on the actual size of your house. It is recommended to join rolls of roofing felt end to end with an overlap of approximately 10cm. Please note that the roof is not safe to walk on and should always be supported from below during installation. The sealing of the roof surfaces to adjacent components with bitumen sealant needs to be done by the customer. If your house has a saddle roof, do not use roof tingles for roofing. Instead, install a 20cm wide step of bitumen with overhang on both sides of the eaves. For houses with a toner, please install a bitumen roofing under the shingles. In the case of a flat roof, the laying of roof shingles is not possible.
