To clean the air filter of the Dawlance Chrome Inverter 30 Room Air Conditioner, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the air conditioner and disconnect the power supply.
2. Open the front panel of the indoor unit by carefully lifting both ends at the same time until it clicks and becomes self-supporting.
3. Use the tab provided to move the filter first up a little, then slightly towards you. Gently draw downwards to extract the filter.
4. Unclip the small air freshening filter from the large air filter.
5. Clean the filters using a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and debris. If the filters are heavily soiled, you can wash them with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to dry completely before reinstalling.
6. Once the filters are clean and dry, reattach the small air freshening filter to the large air filter.
7. Insert the filter back into the unit by aligning the tabs and sliding it back into place.
8. Close the front panel of the indoor unit by pushing it up until it clicks into position.
Regular cleaning of the air filter is important to maintain the cooling efficiency of the air conditioner. It is recommended to clean the filter once every 2 weeks.
