To install the DynaLock EMK-VON Motorized Latch Pullback Kit on a Von Duprin exit device, please follow the steps below:
1. Ensure that the power supply is disconnected before starting the installation process.
2. Remove the existing mechanical latch from the Von Duprin exit device.
3. Install the motorized latch pullback kit onto the exit device, aligning it with the mounting holes.
4. Secure the kit in place using the provided screws or bolts.
5. Connect the power supply leads to the smart module using the quick-connect cable.
6. Ensure that the input voltage range of the power supply is between 22 to 28 VDC.
7. If needed, switch the kit to "high-torque" mode by following the instructions provided in the manual.
8. Run the wires from the smart module to the power supply, ensuring that the wire run does not exceed 500 feet and using two 18 Ga. wires.
9. Once the installation is complete, reconnect the power supply and test the motorized latch pullback kit.
