To install the MCOHOME PM2.5 Monitor, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: The device should be installed indoors, at a height of around 1.5 meters above the floor, where it can represent the average PM2.5 concentration. Ensure that it is away from direct sunlight, any cover, or any heat source to avoid false signal detection.
2. Mount the device vertically: The device must be wall-mounted vertically. Do not lay it flat or upside down while working.
3. Wiring: Follow the wiring diagram provided in the manual to insert all wires into the correct terminals and tighten the screws.
4. Separate panel and bottom case: Remove the xxxx at the bottom of the device to separate the panel and bottom case.
5. Mount the bottom case onto the wall: Use two screws (M4*25mm) to mount the bottom case onto the wall. The hole pitch of 60mm is for an 86/60mm box, and 82mm is for an American 120mm box.
6. Reattach the panel: Align the tabs and card slot on the panel with the bottom case and mount the panel back.
7. Tighten the fastening xxxx : Tighten the fastening xxxx to secure the device in place.
Once the installation is complete, the device is ready for normal operation.
