The INFRATECH CD-Series Quartz Tube Electric Infrared Radiant Heater can be wall-mounted or ceiling-mounted. When wall-mounting, make sure to install the heater at least 18" (45.7cm) away from adjacent walls and 12" (30.5cm) away from the ceiling. The heater should be mounted no less than 6' (1.8m) from the floor if it is labeled as UL Listed, and 8' (2.4m) if it is labeled as UL/CUL Listed. The heater should be set at a downward angle of 30 to 60 degrees.
When ceiling-mounting, the heater should be installed at least 18" (45.7cm) away from adjacent walls and 6" (15.2cm) away from the ceiling. The minimum distance from the floor should be 6' (1.8m) if the heater is labeled as UL Listed, and 8' (2.4m) if it is labeled as UL/CUL Listed. The heater should be angled at a maximum of 30 degrees.
It is important to maintain a minimum clearance of 3' (0.9m) between adjacent heaters and not operate the heater within 25' (7.6m) of flammable/explosive material. Always ensure that the heater is not blocked and that electrical cords, drapery, furnishings, and other combustibles are kept at least 3' (0.9m) away from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed mounting instructions and safety precautions.
