To install the betta Vertical Drapes, follow these steps:
1. Check the width and drop sizes of the blinds against your original order.
2. Lay out the blinds at their intended location and remove the protective packaging.
3. Ensure you have the necessary mounting brackets and other components included with your order.
4. Determine whether you will be doing a face fit or reveal fit installation.
5. For face fit installation, mark where you will be attaching the brackets on the architrave or wall of the window. Space and xxxx the brackets evenly along the front of the architrave or wall.
6. For reveal fit installation, install the blind into the recess as far as possible, allowing enough clearance for the blades to rotate. The clearance at the back will vary depending on the blade width.
7. Once the brackets are installed, place the front section of the track into the allocated clip end and lift the rear section of the track into the bracket until it locks in place. Make sure each clip is secure before moving to the next.
8. If you have cord-operated verticals, mount the cord tensioner to the window opening, either inside the frame or to the wall outside the frame. Ensure the cords are tensioned while still allowing the blind to be operated.
9. Attach the blades to the track by sliding the hangers over the track hooks. Make sure the sewn side of the blade is facing the same way on all blades.
10. If using a bottom chain, attach each clip onto the weight of each blade and trim off any excess.
11. Test the blind's operation by using the wand or cord to draw the blades in the required direction. Ensure the fabric is not rubbing against any obstacles and that there are no obstacles obstructing the opening and closing of the blades.
12. If a pelmet is required, follow the specific instructions provided in the manual for face fit or reveal fit installation.
13. Regularly clean the blinds by removing surface dust with a soft cloth, feather duster, or soft brush. For stains and smudges, use lukewarm water and mild detergent on a sponge. Avoid rubbing the fabric vigorously.
14. Betta Blinds offers a one-year guarantee on fabric quality and a five-year guarantee on blind components. The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, alterations, misuse, or failure to comply with cleaning and maintenance instructions.
