To set the desired temperature on the mychef Proofer Cabinet, follow these steps:
1. Press the "On" button (B) to switch on the proofer. The current temperature setting will be displayed on the temperature indicator (A).
2. If you want to change the target temperature, press the "Temperature" button (E). The display will toggle between the stored target temperature value and the message "SP".
3. Use the "Up" button (C) to increase the desired temperature or the "Down" button (D) to decrease it. The central display will show the new target temperature value.
4. Once you have selected the desired temperature, the value will be automatically recorded. The proofer will then adjust the temperature accordingly by powering the resistor on or off.
Note: It is important to ensure that there is water in the evaporation tray before starting a fermentation cycle. The proofer requires a temperature of 25ºC to 30ºC for fermentation, and humidity is also necessary. The water in the evaporation tray helps maintain the desired humidity level.
