To assemble the Dawlance DWFP-5240 W Food Processor, follow these steps:
1. Clean all parts thoroughly before first use and place the motor housing on a stable, flat surface.
2. Position the processor bowl onto the motor housing and align the arrow on the base of the bowl with the ‘unlocked’ padlock symbol on the top of the motor housing. Twist the bowl and align the arrow with the ‘locked’ padlock symbol. If the bowl is not correctly locked, the processor will not work.
3. Fit the blade support onto the drive shaft in the center of the bowl.
4. Depending on the type of processing you want to do, fit the desired blade onto the blade support. For the general-purpose blade, fit it over the blade support so that it rests close to the bottom of the bowl. For slicing, shredding, or julienne blades, first fit the blade into the holder and then fit the holder onto the blade support.
5. Align the lugs on the rim of the bowl with the grooves on the underside of the lid and fit the lid onto the bowl. Twist the lid clockwise to lock it into position. When correctly fitted, the protruding section of the lid should cover the bowl handle. If the lid is not correctly locked, the processor will not work.
6. If you need to add ingredients through the feed tube, use the pusher when necessary.
