The COOPERS OF STORTFORD H632 Retro CD Boombox can be powered in two ways. Firstly, you can plug the detachable AC cord into a standard AC outlet (240V~60Hz) for AC power. Alternatively, you can use 6 C batteries (not included) for battery power. The batteries should be inserted into the battery compartment located on the back of the boombox.
