To switch between RFIO2 mode and compatibility mode on the inELs RF KEY-40 4-6 Button Controller, follow these steps:
1. After inserting the battery, the red LED will light up continuously for 3 seconds.
2. After the initial 3 seconds, the LED will flash for 5 seconds to indicate the selected controller function.
- Double flash indicates the standard RFIO2 operating mode.
- Rapid flashing indicates the compatibility mode with older actuators.
3. If you do not want to change the function of the controller, do not press any buttons during this time.
4. To switch between RFIO2 mode and compatibility mode:
- When the LED is constantly lit after inserting the battery, press buttons 1 and 3 simultaneously and hold them.
- Continue holding the buttons until the LED starts to signal the changed mode (double flash or rapid flash).
- Release the buttons.
- The selected function mode is stored in memory, and the controller will continue to operate in the same mode even after replacing the battery.
Note: If the controller is used in RFIO2 mode, you need to instruct the controller and link it to the actuators switch in learn mode. To do this, remove the battery from the remote control, press one of the buttons several times to discharge the device, and then insert the battery again. When the LED lights up, press button 1 and keep it pressed until the controller starts signaling the learning mode with short flashing LEDs. Release the button, and the button will now work in RFIO2 learning mode. To end the learning mode, remove the battery, press some of the buttons several times, and then replace the battery. Now, pressing any button will start the controller again in RFIO2 operating mode.
