To install the UJK 502701 Router Elevator and fit the router and cutters, please follow the steps outlined in the instruction manual:
1. Lower the table to almost its fullest extent. Use the Allen key provided to loosen the bolts and lugs holding the universal mounting plate (UMP) in position and remove it.
2. Remove the sole plate from your router and secure your router to the UMP via the appropriate holes. Refer to the hole layout chart in the manual for the specific hole numbers, xxxx types, and quantities required for your router model.
3. Adjust the depth of the router to slightly more than the required exposure of the tool and lock the body. Note that you will lose 14.5mm of the set height of the cutter between the lower face of the universal mounting plate and the upper surface of the machine table.
4. Re-fit the mounting plate to the rise and fall platform.
5. If the router tool diameter is greater than 75mm, re-fit the router/mounting plate combination to the rise and fall platform first, and then mount the tooling into the router.
6. Ensure that the power switch of the router is easily accessible when the router elevator is fitted to the work platform.
7. Check the speed setting of the router to ensure it is correct for the cutter diameter.
8. Give the router a quick burst to check that everything is secure.
9. Proceed to fit your fencing, dust extraction, etc., as desired.
