To install the components into the COOLER MASTER MasterBox Lite 3 Mini Tower PC Case, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the case:
- Remove the side panels by unscrewing the screws located at the back of the case.
- Take off the front panel by gently pulling it away from the case.
2. Install the power supply:
- Locate the power supply bracket at the rear of the case.
- Place the power supply into the bracket with the fan facing downwards.
- Secure the power supply using the screws provided.
3. Install the motherboard:
- Align the motherboard with the standoffs on the case.
- Carefully lower the motherboard onto the standoffs.
- Secure the motherboard using the screws provided.
4. Install the storage devices:
- For 3.5" HDDs: Slide the HDD into the drive cage and secure it with screws.
- For 2.5" SSDs: Attach the SSD to the SSD bracket using screws, then mount the bracket onto the SSD mounting area.
5. Install the expansion cards:
- Remove the corresponding expansion slot covers on the rear panel.
- Insert the expansion card into the appropriate slot on the motherboard.
- Secure the expansion card using screws.
6. Connect the front panel connectors:
- Refer to the motherboard manual for the specific pin layout.
- Connect the power switch, reset switch, HDD LED, power LED, and any other front panel connectors to the corresponding pins on the motherboard.
7. Connect the storage and power cables:
- Connect the SATA cables from the storage devices to the SATA ports on the motherboard.
- Connect the power cables from the power supply to the storage devices and other components (e.g., motherboard, graphics card).
8. Cable management:
- Route the cables neatly behind the motherboard tray and use cable ties or Velcro straps to secure them in place.
- Ensure that the cables do not obstruct the airflow or interfere with any components.
9. Reassemble the case:
- Put the front panel back into place by aligning the clips and gently pushing it until it snaps into position.
- Attach the side panels by aligning the xxxx holes and tightening the screws.
