To connect the Kangtai 51268USA WiFi Smart Plug to the TuyaSmart app, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your mobile phone has WiFi, Bluetooth, and location functions enabled.
2. Plug in the smart plug and press and hold the button for more than 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes quickly.
3. Open the TuyaSmart app on your mobile phone.
4. Tap on the "+" icon in the upper right corner of the app.
5. Select "Electrical-Socket(Bluetooth +Wi-Fi)" from the device list.
6. Follow the instructions on the app to check the flashing mode of the indicator light.
7. Tap on "Confirmation light flashes quickly" and then tap on "Next".
8. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password, then tap on "Next". Note that the smart plug only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, not 5GHz.
9. The app will automatically search for the smart plug.
10. Once the smart plug is found, tap on "Finish" to complete the setup.
After the setup is complete, you can control the smart plug through the TuyaSmart app, even if it loses network connection, you can still control it via Bluetooth at close range.
