To connect the ULTIMEA Tapio I Pro 2.0 Channel Soundbar to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the steps for each connection method:
1. HDMI ARC Connection:
- Check if your TV has an HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port.
- Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not provided) to the HDMI ARC port on your TV.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the ARC port on the soundbar.
- Make sure the soundbar is set to "HDMI ARC" mode using the remote control or the button on the soundbar.
2. Optical Connection:
- Check if your TV has an optical output port.
- Connect one end of the provided optical cable to the optical output port on your TV.
- Connect the other end of the optical cable to the "OPTICAL IN" port on the soundbar.
- Make sure the soundbar is set to "Optical" mode using the remote control or the button on the soundbar.
- If there is no sound, check if your TV has PCM settings and enable them when connected in Optical Mode.
3. AUX Connection:
- Check if your TV has a 3.5mm audio output or RCA output.
- If your TV has a 3.5mm audio output, you will need to purchase a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable separately.
- If your TV has RCA outputs, you can use the provided 3.5mm to RCA stereo jack cable.
- Connect one end of the appropriate cable to the audio output port on your TV.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the "AUX IN" port on the soundbar.
- Make sure the soundbar is set to "Auxiliary input" mode using the remote control or the button on the soundbar.
After connecting the soundbar to your TV, make sure to turn on the soundbar using the power button. You can then use the remote control or the buttons on the soundbar to change modes and adjust the volume.
