To install the Verona VPFSEE365D Electric Range, please follow these steps:
1. Read the installation instructions provided in the manual carefully before beginning the installation process.
2. Ensure that you have all the necessary tools for installation. The manual does not specify the exact tools required, but it is recommended to have suitable protective clothing/gloves when handling and installing the appliance.
3. Make sure to observe all local and national codes and ordinances during installation.
4. The range must be properly grounded according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) or local codes. It is recommended to have a qualified installer or electrician perform the electrical installation.
5. The range can be installed directly adjacent to existing 36" high base cabinets, but it cannot be installed directly adjacent to sidewalls, tall cabinets, tall appliances, or other side vertical surfaces above 36" high. There must be a minimum of 2" side clearance from the range to such combustible surfaces on either side above the 36" high countertop.
6. The range should be leveled by adjusting the lower ends of the feet. Use caution when lifting the range and avoid lifting it by the door handle.
7. The backguard is not packaged with the appliance but is supplied separately by the distributor. It is mandatory to install the backguard.
8. The range comes with an anti-tip bracket that must be properly installed to prevent tipping. Follow the instructions provided in the manual to install the anti-tip bracket securely to the floor or wall and engage it with the adjustable bracket assembly on the back of the range.
9. Before connecting the range to the electrical supply, ensure that the power is switched off at the service panel and locked to prevent accidental switching on.
10. The electrical connection can be made using either a 3-wire power cord or conduit. Follow the instructions in the manual for the specific type of electrical connection you are using. It is recommended to use a 4-wire power cord for installations within the United States.
11. Once the electrical connection is made, assemble the terminal block access plate on the back of the range.
12. Refer to the wiring diagram provided in the manual for the electric diagram key and understand the functions of various components in the range.
