To install the COOLER MASTER ML120R RGB MasterLiquid CPU Cooler, please follow the steps below:
1. Prepare your motherboard: Ensure that your motherboard has a compatible CPU socket (such as Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-v3, or AMD AM4, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2, FM2+, FM2, FM1). Refer to your motherboard's manual for socket compatibility.
2. Prepare your case: Make sure your case has enough space to accommodate the radiator and fans. Locate the appropriate mounting holes for a 120mm radiator on the top or rear of your case.
3. Install the radiator: Depending on your case, you may need to remove any existing fans or brackets from the mounting area. Place the radiator in the desired location and secure it using the provided screws.
4. Install the fans: Attach the two MF120R ARGB fans to the radiator using the provided screws. Ensure that the fans are oriented to push air through the radiator and out of the case for optimal cooling.
5. Install the pump: Attach the dual chamber ARGB pump to the CPU socket on your motherboard. Apply thermal paste to the CPU, then carefully align the pump's mounting bracket with the CPU socket and secure it using the appropriate screws or brackets provided.
6. Connect the cables: Connect the pump's power cable to the CPU fan header on your motherboard. Connect the ARGB cables from the pump and fans to the included ARGB controller or compatible RGB motherboard header if available.
7. Cable management: Route the cables neatly and secure them using cable ties or clips to ensure a clean installation.
8. Test and adjust: Power on your system and check if the pump and fans are functioning properly. Use the included ARGB controller or software (MasterPlus+) to customize the RGB lighting effects if desired.
