To change the collet size on the BORMANN BAT1038 Air Drill, please follow the steps outlined in the owner's manual:
1. Ensure that the air drill is turned off and disconnected from the air supply.
2. Locate the collet nut at the front of the air drill.
3. Use a wrench or spanner to loosen the collet nut by turning it counterclockwise.
4. Once the collet nut is loose, remove it completely from the air drill.
5. Take out the current collet from the collet chuck.
6. Insert the desired collet size into the collet chuck, ensuring it is properly aligned.
7. Reattach the collet nut onto the collet chuck and tighten it securely by turning it clockwise with a wrench or spanner.
8. Ensure that the collet nut is tightened enough to hold the collet securely in place, but not overly tight.
9. Once the collet nut is tightened, the collet size has been successfully changed.
10. Reconnect the air drill to the air supply and test it to ensure proper functionality.
