According to the instruction manual, it is recommended to clean the tubular filter at least once a week to ensure it maintains the correct filtration efficiency. Additionally, Miele recommends cleaning the tubular filter after every 10 program cycles. Cleaning the filter involves rinsing it under running water to remove any coarse soiling, using the Miele A 804 brush to clean inside the filter, and thoroughly rinsing the inside of the tube with running water. After cleaning, check the filter for any damage or tears, and replace it if necessary. It is also important to clean the O-rings and check them for visible signs of wear and tear.
