To properly adjust and fit the LIVALL Bluetooth Smart Helmet, follow these steps:
1. Turn the adjustment dial clockwise (to the right) until the helmet fits firmly and comfortably. To reduce the adjustment, turn the adjustment dial counterclockwise (to the left).
2. Wear the helmet low in the front to protect the forehead.
3. Ensure that the front and rear straps join at a point slightly below and in front of the ears. Adjust the position of the straps by sliding the slide adjuster up or down as necessary.
4. Always wear the helmet with the chin strap buckle fastened and the strap pulled tight. Make sure the strap is well back against the throat, not on the point of the chin.
5. Before using the helmet, make sure it fits correctly, the straps are correctly adjusted, and the chin strap is tight enough. Put the helmet on in the correct position, fasten the chin strap, and pull it tight.
6. Check the fit by grabbing the helmet with both hands and twisting it to the left and right. If the helmet fits right, the skin on the forehead will move as the helmet moves. If it does not, the helmet is too loose. Repeat the adjustment process.
7. Check the straps by grabbing the helmet with both hands and trying to remove it by rolling the helmet forward and backward. If you can roll it off the head completely in either direction or if it blocks vision or exposes the forehead, it does not fit right. Repeat the strap adjustment process.
8. If you cannot adjust the helmet to fit as required, do not use it. Replace it with a different size.
Please refer to the owner's manual for diagrams and visual instructions on proper helmet fit and adjustment.
