To turn on the AIS feature on your HUMMINBIRD Helix Series AIS GPS Fishfinder, follow these steps:
1. Power on the AIS device by following the instructions provided with the hardware.
2. On the Helix control head, press the POWER key to turn it on.
3. When the title screen is displayed, press the MENU key.
4. Select "Normal" from the menu options.
5. Press the RIGHT Cursor key.
6. To display AIS targets on the Chart View, press and hold the VIEW key, then select "Chart" and "Chart View".
7. Press the RIGHT Cursor key.
8. To access the AIS menu, press the MENU key twice and select the "Accessories" tab.
9. Select "AIS" from the menu options.
10. Press the RIGHT Cursor key.
11. To turn on tracking of AIS targets, select "Tracking Target" from the AIS menu.
12. Select "On" to enable tracking.
13. You should now be able to see AIS targets on the Chart View, Bird's Eye View, and the Target List.
