To perform an outdoor wireless site survey using netAlly AirMagnet Survey on Demand, follow these steps:
1. Ensure you have a GPS device to collect outdoor wireless data. This will help in accurately mapping the survey results.
2. Import street maps of the specific city or area where the survey will be conducted. This will provide a visual representation of the outdoor environment.
3. Launch the AirMagnet Survey on Demand software and select the outdoor survey option.
4. Configure the GPS device to connect with the software and start collecting data.
5. Walk or drive around the outdoor area while the software collects data from the GPS device and Wi-Fi adapters.
6. Once the survey is complete, the software will generate heatmaps that provide full visibility of WLAN coverage, interference, throughput, data rates, retries, loss, and more.
