To install and set up the Septekon lahgd C20 1080P HD Webcam with Microphone, follow these steps:
1. Connect the webcam to your computer using the USB cable provided.
2. Make sure your computer is powered on and running the supported operating system (Windows 7/8/10 or newer, MacOS 10.6 and later, Android version 5.0 or above, Ubuntu 2.6.26 or later).
3. The webcam should be automatically recognized by your computer as a USB video device. If not, you may need to install the appropriate driver software. However, the manual states that the webcam is plug and play, so driver installation may not be necessary.
4. Once the webcam is recognized, you can start using it with compatible applications such as Youtube, Facebook Live, Twitch, Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, and other video software.
5. Adjust the position of the webcam according to your preference. It can be set directly on your desk or clipped to the computer screen. The webcam has a 360° left and right rotation and a 30° up and down rotation, allowing you to adjust the angle as needed.
6. The webcam features a built-in stereo microphone that can pick up speech even at a distance of 10 feet. There is no need to buy extra microphones. The microphone utilizes noise reduction and echo cancellation technology for exceptional audio quality.
