To make a bag from a FoodSaver Roll, follow these steps:
1. Using scissors, cut enough bag material from the roll to hold your item, plus 3 inches. Make sure to cut straight.
2. Move the Easy Lock Latch to the open position and open the appliance lid.
3. Insert one end of the bag material across the Sealing Strip.
4. Close the lid and turn the Easy Lock Latch to the OPERATE position.
5. Press the Seal button.
6. When the Seal Indicator Light turns off, the sealing is complete. Turn the latch to the OPEN position, lift the lid, and remove the bag.
Now you have a bag made from the FoodSaver Roll and you can proceed to vacuum seal your item.
