To change the master code on the TurboLock YL-6996-SS Keyless Smart Lock, follow these steps:
1. Enter the default master code ('0123') or the current master code.
2. Press the '#' key.
3. Wait until the beeping sound stops but the blue backlight remains on.
4. Enter the new master code starting with '0'.
5. Press the '*' key.
6. The lock will emit two beeps to confirm that the new master code has been successfully saved.
Note: If the master code is lost or forgotten, it can be deleted via a hard reset of the lock. Please refer to Section 7 of the user manual for instructions on performing a hard reset.
