To charge your device using the Amazon Basics USB Type-C to Type-C 2.0 Charger Cable, please follow these steps:
1. Confirm whether your device supports PD (Power Delivery) protocol. If your device supports PD, you can use this cable to charge your device.
2. Make sure both the Host (power source) and Device (your smartphone) have USB-C female ports.
3. Plug one end of the cable into the USB-C port on your smartphone.
4. Plug the other end of the cable into a compatible power source, such as a wall charger or a USB port on your computer.
5. Once the cable is connected to both your device and the power source, your device should start charging.
Note: If the cable does not work, please check for any foreign matter inside the USB-C connector or any abnormalities in the pins. If you find any, clean them and reconnect the cable. Also, check for any metal chips, water solvent, or other foreign matter in the charging ports of both your device and the power source. Clean them if necessary and reconnect the cable.
