To clean the grill, follow these steps:
1. Allow the grill to cool completely before cleaning to avoid accidental burns.
2. Empty the drip tray and clean it with warm, soapy water or wash it in the upper rack of the dishwasher. Wipe it dry.
3. Wipe the outside of the unit with a warm, wet sponge. Dry it with a soft, dry cloth.
4. Clean the grill plates using warm, soapy water. Do not use steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners on any part of the grill.
5. Do not immerse the grill in water or any other liquid.
6. Hold the lid open while cleaning to prevent accidental closing and injury.
7. Any servicing requiring disassembly other than the above cleaning must be performed by a qualified service personnel.
