To install the KUOGO TH-1 Portable Door Lock, follow these steps:
1. Open the door towards you and insert the claws of the Portable lock into the strike of the door.
2. The red handle with the moving metal rod is what locks the door in place.
3. Once the claws of the Portable lock are inserted into the strike of the door frame, close the door. The lock is now locked in place.
4. Take the red handle and insert the moving metal rod into the triangular hole of the lock's body on the side between the lock's body and the door handle. The handle will slide down until it locks the door in place.
Note: Once you have completed the installation steps, the Portable lock handle should be wedged against the door. Your Portable lock is now in place.
