To clean and maintain your Wahl 9899-100 Aqua Blade Deluxe Trimming Kit, follow these steps:
1. Before cleaning, make sure the trimmer is turned off and unplugged.
2. Use the included cleaning brush to remove any loose hairs from the unit and the blades.
3. For units with a soft-touch grip, use a damp cloth to wipe down the body of the trimmer.
4. To oil the blades, turn the trimmer on and hold it with the blades facing down. Squeeze three drops of Wahl Clipper Oil across the front of the blade and one drop on each side of the heel of the blade. Wipe off any excess oil with a soft cloth. Do not over-oil the blades.
5. Do not attempt to disassemble the trimmer or oil the motor bearings, as they are permanently lubricated.
6. When storing the trimmer, make sure the trimmer blade guard attachment is in place to protect the blades.
7. Avoid crushing, heating above 100°C (212°F), or incinerating the trimmer, as this can cause damage.
8. If you experience any issues with your trimmer, refer to the troubleshooting section in the manual or contact Wahl Clipper Corporation for service and repair.
