To clean the COSORI pour-over coffee maker, follow these steps:
1. After each use, remove the stainless steel mesh filter and discard the used coffee grounds.
2. Remove the wooden sleeve and separate it from the sleeve tie. Wipe the sleeve and sleeve tie with a wet cloth, then dry with another cloth before placing them back on the decanter.
3. Hand wash the glass decanter, measuring scoop, and filter with hot, soapy water. Use mild soap and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. Do not use steel wool pads or abrasive cleaners, as they may scratch the decanter.
4. Wipe the decanter, sleeve, and sleeve tie with a damp cloth to remove any superficial stains.
5. Make sure the wooden sleeve is completely dry before placing it back on the glass decanter.
6. If desired, the filter and glass decanter can also be washed in a dishwasher. However, the wooden sleeve and tie are not dishwasher-safe. Remove the wooden sleeve and tie before putting them in the dishwasher. The measuring scoop is top-rack dishwasher-safe only.
It's important to handle the glass decanter with care to avoid breakage. Avoid hitting faucets or other hard surfaces when hand washing. Additionally, do not store the glass decanter in a place where it may fall, be bumped, or be knocked over.
