To change the temperature scale on the Braun IRT6520 ThermoScan Infrared Ear Thermometer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the thermometer is turned off.
2. Press and hold down the Power button. After about 3 seconds, the display will show the sequence: °C / SET / °F / SET ...
3. Release the Power button when the desired temperature scale is shown. There will be a short beep to confirm the new setting, and then the thermometer will turn off automatically.
Please note that the thermometer is shipped with the Celsius (°C) temperature scale activated. If you wish to switch to Fahrenheit (°F) or switch back from Fahrenheit to Celsius, you can use the above instructions to change the temperature scale accordingly.
